The 2012 Randolph Arts Guild Olympic Summer Camp offers classes including duct tape art, creative writing, action drawing, collaborative team building, and crafts from all over the world. The Randolph Arts Guild needs camp volunteers to assist with classes too. Volunteer applications are also available online at the aforementioned website. The camp registration deadline is Wednesday, May 23. Each week long classes ranges from $40 -- $65. Scholarships are available. Camps run weekly from June 18 and end on August 10 with a special end of camp celebration at the Guild. Eleanor Layfield Davis Exhibition, running May 18 through June 2. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. The Yadkin Arts Council announces A Call for Entries for the Eye of the Artist Juried Show – Town and Country. This is the second annual Juried Show for the Arts Council. All North Carolina residents may submit work in 2D and/or 3D for consideration of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash awards. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. All entries must be work completed in the last two years. The deadline for submissions is June 4. A selection committee of three will review all submitted works. Selected participants will be notified by June 11. The exhibit in the Yadkin Cultural Arts Center's Welborn Gallery will run from July 13 through September 17. Slack and Slack Art Exhibit, May 18 from 5-8pm. Circa Gallery will present work from two different artists Lenton Slack and Jared Slack. The show will be held at Circa Gallery 150 Sunset Avenue, in downtown Asheboro. The show will run from May 18, through June 12. The artist opening is free and the public is invited to attend. Foothills Theatre and the Foothills Arts Council presents "Love, Loss and What I Wore," as part of the Art in the Garden series, for two performances, May 12 and May 18 at 8pm. Bring a lawn chair, blanket and a snack and stretch out to enjoy this adult-themed comedy/drama. Local wineries will be on hand. Located at 129 Church Street, Elkin. Tickets $10. Auditions for The Music Man, Jr. will be May 21 and 22 from 7-9pm. Auditions are only open to Guilford County School students ages 5-18. Students should come prepared with a song with either sheet music or a karaoke CD. Students will learn a short dance combination so comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended. Kernersville Little Theatre is holding additional auditions for KILROY WAS HERE, April 19 at 7 pm in the auditorium of Kernersville Elementary School, 512 W. Mountain Street. Come prepared to sing a song of your choice, wear comfortable clothes as you will perform a dance step and you will also read from the script. Performance dates are June 14-16 at 8pm, June 17 at 2pm, June 21-23 at 8pm and June 24 at 2pm.
